Impact of Bronchoscopic Lavage and Aggressive Chest Physiotherapy on Clinical Pulmonary Infection Score of Patients of Severe Traumatic Brain Injury

Introduction: Traumatic brain injury patients present in the emergency room with a variable conscious status depending upon severity of injury. The process aspiration starts from scene trauma as and chest have higher rates pneumonia.
 Materials Methods: We conducted prospective study to assess impact bronchoscopy lavage aggressive physiotherapy on Critical Pulmonary Infection Score Patients Severe Brain Injury Neurocritical Care Unit. severe traumatic who met inclusion criteria were enrolled study. both genders, ages ranging 05 – 70 years included study.
 Results: 48 8 expired before 7 days excluded 88% male 12 % females. Out 40 patients, 30 ventilated 10 managed without ventilation. contusion was most common CT scan finding. 18 underwent surgical intervention, decompressive hemicraniectomy being commonly performed procedure. 32 bronchoscopy. out had more than two sessions bronchoscopy.
 Conclusion: As is an important indicator for pneumonia neurocritical care unit, importance standardized help bronchoscopic keeping lower side can prevent developing life-threatening pneumonia.
